Dear NPR, It is nothing short than an act of journalistic cowardice to pretend there is a substantive debate over whether or not the “techniques” used were torture. They were torture. Referring to them as “aggressive techniques some say were torture” might make you feel objective, but is actually muddying up the facts of the case.  Until Bush okayed these “techniques” everyone thought they were torture. I thought you would’ve learned your lesson from the global warming “debate”, but appare

A fired British executive is suing his former employer on the grounds that he was unfairly dismissed due to religious views – his belief in global warming. As Marc Sheppard comments, Greenies scoffed when Michael Crichton first called environmentalism “one of the most powerful religions in the Western World”

Cool facts don’t matter to heated warming activists

Melting ice grows Only last week it was widely reported that contrary to the global warming theory, Antarctic ice has actually been growing , not shrinking, over the last 30 years. But cool facts don’t seem to matter to some members of the Rudd Government: A SPLIT over global warming has emerged in Kevin Rudd’s cabinet after it was revealed that a 13-month-old photograph was published this month to support the view that a catastrophic melting of Antarctic ice was imminent. Federa
